The last few blogs have been lifestyle based or general ramblings from myself, so I will try to make this one a little more useful!
Usually on a daily basis I don't wear a lot of make up as I like my skin to breathe throughout the day. Saying this, one of the products I have been reaching for almost every day is the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum. This is a really light foundation, that you can barely feel on your skin but at the same time give you perfect coverage all over. It is a great base for all day wear, as it last all day and it doesn't feel heavy on the skin. This is also reasonably priced at around £10 and you can find them everywhere, including Boots and Superdrug. Bourjois Healthy Mix has definitely made a believer out of me.
My second (hopefully useful) recommendation is the Real Technique Expert Face Brush from the Make Up Artist Sam Chapman. Now, I have never used a brush to apply foundation before as I always find them extremely wasteful, difficult to use and leave the foundation a little streaky. I know many make up artists reading this will be shaking their heads, but I have been a slap it on with your hands kind of gal for many a year! Not anymore, I am loving the Expert Face Brush. It is so simple, and as it rounded instead of flat so you apply in circular, buffing motions. This helps reduce any wasted product and gives an even coverage all over. Amazing right? It gets better, this brush is only £8.99. I can not recommend this brush enough and think every girl should have one in her make up
bag.
