Bank Holiday Beach Waves

Saturday, 25 May 2013

As we all know many people over react to a little Glasgow sunshine, taps aff, legs oot and all that jazz. I have a confession...I may be one of those people. The sun makes everything better in my opinion. So this bank holiday I will be pretending I am on holiday sunbathing and dipping in the pool (Ok I don't have a pool, but I said I was pretending!).

In true holiday fashion I will also be ditching the hair dryer for my Mark Hill Holiday Hair Beach Babe Sea Salt Wave Spray. I always use this stuff on holiday because it is so easy to use and gives great results.

Wash your hair as normal, I spray some heat protector first, and then spray the Sea Salt Spray all over. I'd recommend drying the front of your hair as normal, otherwise you will look like someone from a Dr Seuss book! Head out to the sun and job done. Simple. As a bonus tip, if you are feeling a little lazy one night spray some on instead of blow drying your hair, leaves a wave the next morning.

The spray itself is not crispy on your hair, has a summery scent and seems to last for ages. As my hair has a slight ombre look right now, this really brings out the colour. At £5.99 from Boots this is extremely reasonably priced compared to other salt sprays on the market, and in my opinion it is one of the best.

Whether you are in 40 degree heat or just in the back garden making the most of the lovely bank holiday, treat yourself to some beach wave hair!
