If, like me, you have rather unruly eyebrows then you will have been shaping and maintaining them for years. I was always loyal to getting them waxed until i discovered threading a couple of years ago. Since this, I have never looked back.
I am one particular person when it comes to my eyebrows, and have in the past shed a good few tears when they weren't shaped just quite right. May sound dramatic, but I think eyebrows shape your whole face and there really is nothing worse than when it goes wrong. Touch wood I have had no such horror stories with threading.
I find threading gives a much cleaner and sharp shape. The worst bit is having to let them grow in! (several tears have also been shed during this stage!) the longer you leave them to grow the cleaner the shape you will get. Threading only removes the had from the follicle, unlike waxing where the skin surrounding gets lathered in wax.

I have not had my eyebrows waxed in about 2 years and do not see me returning anytime soon. If you haven't already tried threading I would definitely recommend giving it a try and see what you think of the difference.
They look amazing. I bitterly regret allowing my once decent brows to be over waxed. Good brows just look so polished. I'm now suffering from brow envy!
ReplyDeleteOh no, that happened to me years and years ago too. There's nothing worse I am now obsessive and so particular about who does them, ha. They really do make such a difference to your whole face shape. Plus they will grow back! xx
