I had been looking forward to this weekend for quite a while now and I'm sorry to see it go. My sister and I were having an old school Watson's sisters sleepover while her fiancé was away playing golf. Now, I do speak to my sister pretty continuiosly everyday and see her at least once a week, but that's not the point. This was a weekend of girl time we have been planning for weeks.
Friday night saw us making the most of the 20% student discount in River Island and counting down the hours until Caroline Hirons new youtube videos went live. Both of which did not disappoint. A girls weekend with my sister and Caroline or, The Hirons as we like to call her, youtube debut all in one weekend. Bliss. And of course, this lead to lots of beauty and skincare chat while watching movies (The Heat, which is very funny!) and eating all kinds of things that are bad for you.
My sister has a charming little beagle called George who I am ridiculously allergic too but just can't help squeezing him so tight that I just about die from my allergies. So Saturday meant an early rise and out to the park. As I don't have a dog this is not something I regularly do, but I have to say it is a relaxing way to start your weekend. For this particular outing I was sporting my hunter wellington boots, printed leggings and my soon to be brother-in-law's mammoth jacket. Completely on top of my style game, I am sure you would all agree.
A pit stop at Citation in Glasgow Merchant City for some serious shopping took place was the afternoon plans. And we shopped till we dropped. There was far too many purchases to photograph but be sure to be subscribed to my Youtube Channel for a haul should you wish to see them! George also got in on the dressing up, doesn't he look dashing? Obviously after shopping we needed to refuel...red velvet cake anyone? Delicious.
Shopping, beauty chat, sweets and movies (we also watched frozen, and yes, I do want to build a snowman) was basically the whole weekend and I loved it. Thankfully we did also sign up to a new gym and to start some coaching so those sweets will work themselves off, right?
Weekends like this really make me realise how lucky I am to have a sister who is my best friend, I can't wait to the next one!
