As part of one of my Beauty Resolutions, which I am trying to stick to (some definitely need some attention too!) I said I was needing to look after myself, and mentioned that I use to use coconut oil.
I completely believe that coconut oil has so many benefits, and use to use in in food and on my skin and hair. It wasn't until I attended a bootcamp and the instructor encouraged me to eat a tablespoon of coconut oil before going to class that I really saw the positive effects. Not only that, it's reasonably priced and you can pick a tub up in a local supermarket.
Could I eat a tablespoon of coconut oil? In an answer no, I couldn't. It was the strangest most unnatural thing, It was like spoon feeding myself a lump of grease. Needless to say I had to find another route! I decided to melt it down and drink it up. Does this taste good? In an answer no, it doesn't. It almost tastes like drinking melted vaseline, yummy!
But it isn't all about tasting good, my hair is so much shiner and healthier looking. My nails are a lot stronger and break a lot less. Not to mention the good it does for you internally, I usually take this after bootcamp and it does help to restore my energy until I can eat something in the office.
