If you read my 2014 beauty resolutions then you will know one of them was to take regular time out to relax and recharge, for me this has came in the form of baths. I really was not a bath kind of girl ever, I was definitely more in the corner of a quick shower that sometimes ran to 30mins (oops). But after girls in work raving about how they light candles and just relax, I was intrigued to have a go and see what all the fuss was about.
Mother of all things lovely have I been missing out!
Over the last couple of months I have definitely became a bath gal and recently have been getting into different lotions and potions. Most recently, I was struggling to sleep and read about the This Works Deep Sleep Bath Soak from Amelia Liana. These release such an aroma of lavender that you can't help but feel relaxed and as though you are in a spa somewhere.
I added to this the Aromatherapy Associated Essential Bath and Shower oils, after many raving all over the blogger world. This is a box of three with a Relax Deep, Destress Mind and Revive Morning oils to try. You only need 2 caps full, so these have been lasting pretty well. They so smell quite similar, but to be honest I don't care! They all smell so luxurious and really stick to your skin, even when you are out the bath you can feel the oils on your skin. Not in an overpowering, slippery way, more silky.
I love using these products in my bath, it makes it feel luxurious and truly relaxing. If you watched my last video you will see how my pampering evenings usually go.
We all need a little TLC every now and again, and I am slowly building up a wee shelf of pampering products that help shake off a busy week.
xx
