Salt Spray | Budget to High End

Tuesday, 8 July 2014

It is no secret that I am a salt spray in your hair kind of gal, all year round. You will often find me on a cold December day still spraying salt pray in mt hair and letting it partially air dry. I have narrowed this down from High end to Budget.

Oribe Beach Apres- The most expensive of the bunch at £34. To be honest I was not too blown away by this. It is more of a hairspray and I found it made my hair more fly away than tousled. I would say your money, unfortunately!

Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray- A firm favourite and the middle of the road at £21.50. This really feels like salt, but in no way makes your fair feel crispy or dried out. This is the one I reach for more often that not and it never fails to give my hair the wave I am looking for. As a bonus this works really well on dry hair too.

Mark Hill Sea Salt Wave Spray - This is the bargain of the group at £5.99 and I would say it is very close to the Bumble and Bumble. It doesn't leave a residue in the hair but doesn't hold a wave as long. But for £5.99... this is always in one of my drawers.

Overall, I reach for Bumble and Bumble a solid middle of the road that holds a wave and leaves no horrible textures in your hair. Bravo Bumble and Bumble.
