My Weekend In Pictures #4

Monday, 5 May 2014

Ever have those weekend where you just need to get a things done. This was one of them for me.

Luckily it was a bank holiday and all week I had been adding and adding to my already extensive list of things that needed to be completed before work on Tuesday morning. Some not as time consuming as other (thank god!)

God I love a to do list covered in ticks!

As well as working full time I am also currently studying for my CIPD qualification (HR things, not that interesting!) I have passed all my exams and I am now an associate member but in order to complete the course there is the remaining essays to hand in. It is my goal to get these essays done as quick as possible and so the first of these was the main goal for this weekend, which was checked off on Sunday, can I get a hallelujah!

The most exciting thing this weekend was getting to play around with my new Cannon 600D, and I think it is love! I filmed my April Favouties on it and the difference from my old camera was incredible. You may or may not of noticed I have been a little absent from youtube, no real reason, but it felt good to be back filming as it is a hobby i absolutely love, so be sure to check my new video and subscribe to my channel.

Ofcourse there was always time for a little tea and cake, it was the bank holiday weekend after all. And it was lovely to catch up with an old friend I hadn't seen in a while. This led to the discovery that I like green tea, who knew?! *runs out and purchases some*

Between completing my list of things to get done it was mainly about regrouping and relaxing. Earlier in the week I had really not been sleeping and also took a nasty reaction to some SPF I had worn on my face, les than ideal. So the other aim of this extended weekend was to get back on track with some serious attention to my skin and mind decluttering! Next weekend is a busy one so I feel a lot fresher going into the week knowing certain things are checked off.

Que copious amounts of pampering and relaxing.

Sometimes you just need some time to get your life together, a friend in work call this "life admin" I have totally stolen it as it seems appropriate and I think it's safe to say I got plenty of "life admin" down this weekend.

I hope you all have a lovely bank holiday weekend too!
xx
