Happy New Year!

With us officially in 2014 its that time for some resolutions to be made, and this year I have a few beauty ones in mind.

1) Wear more eye make up. This is something I have let slip, and over the festive season with work parties and meeting friends I have rekindled my love for eye make up. So, I want to continue on this and be a little more adventurous with the eye make up I choose.

2) Find the perfect drawer separators for my new dressing table. A tidy beauty storage is a happy beauty storage…I'm sure thats a thing, right? As i type i have a link to Muji open, I picked up a few bits when I was down in London and think this is the answer if you are struggling for space.

3) Find a hair routine that works. I change my shampoo every time i finish a bottle, I just haven't found one that I have fallen in love with yet…the search will continue in 2014!

4) Be healthier. This is a standard resolution I am sure a lot of you have made, but this one is not related to exercise or loosing weight. Im talking about taking care of myself from the inside so as this comes through in the outside. Drink plenty of water for my skin to be hydrated, consuming coconut oil on a daily basis (this did wonders for my hair and nails last year…I have no idea why I stopped!). And take time to relax and go for massages to unwind.

5) Get a pedicure! this has been high, high on my list for AGES. I got one while I was in Egypt on holiday and ever since have been meaning to get one in Glasgow, this will be the year.

6) Wear sunscreen. I always buy a moisturiser with a SPF incorporated, but this year I want to start using one under my moisturiser to protect my skin and hopefully keep it looking younger for years to come.

So those are my beauty resolutions, what are yours?

xx
